White-Tail Deer Hunting Season is Around the Corner!

Around the United States, finding public land that’s great for hunting can be difficult. Luckily, Minnesota is a state that seems like it’s made for hunters. Minnesota boasts well-managed state forests, national forests, and state wildlife management areas (WMA), all abundant with wildlife.

For big game hunting, the Minnesota Northwoods and Chippewa National Forest provide plenty of opportunity to hunt. This area has multiple trails to reach your hunting destination. Whitetail deer open season starts in mid-September for archery and early-November for firearms.

Pack up and head out for a walk (or ATV ride) through the Minnesota Northwoods. You never know what you’ll scare up in the fall. The trails surrounding our resorts are a hunter’s paradise, thick with whitetail deer. You just have to know where to look! If you’re lucky, dinner will come to you.
