Pimushe Lake covers approximately 1,365 acres. It is seven miles end to end, and it reaches depths of 40 feet. Long and narrow, its shoreline is undeveloped and irregular, with many small bays and islands. Pimushe has a diverse fish community, and a reputation for producing mixed stringers of quality size fish. Species range from walleye and large-mouth bass to northern pike and crappie.
With unique cabins and a secluded setting in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest, Pimushe Resort is located on the western side of Pimushe Lake. The lake offers good fishing with many miles of undeveloped shoreline. The peaceful location features an abundance of wildlife, nice sandy beach, kayaks, canoes, hydro-bikes, paddleboat, lots of fun water toys, dock fishing, and deluxe boats and pontoon for rent.
